Dear Friends,

Next Sunday is Sea Sunday and there will be a collection for the Apostleship of the Sea. 90% of world trade is transported by sea and the Apostleship of the Sea provides practical and pastoral care to all seafarers visiting our shores.

KIKAMBALA CHILDREN’S HOME IN KENYA. Times are hard and costs have risen, especially School fees. We have recently sent £540.00. William at the home thanks you all.

HENRY WHISENET Henry is one of our students for the priesthood. Pray for him as he is ordained DEACON at Oscott Seminary this Saturday, with a view to being ordained Priest in 2013.

Ben Grist, one of our students at Oscott College in Birmingham is very ill. Please pray for him.

VERY URGENT We need more VOLUNTEERS to help with cleaning the Church, male or female, two hours every 10 weeks. Please call Christine Nowak on 01328 856557.

An invitation to all young people age 14 and above Come to our main diocesan youth event of the year - the 'Ignite Festival' 14th -15th July. Held at Sacred Heart School, Swaffham, the weekend will include faith based talks and workshops, Taizé prayer, live music, and an opportunity for football coaching! Marion Edwards will be leaving Fakenham shortly to live with her son in Devon and has little need of much of her home. She will be holding a House Contents Sale at 13 Whitelands, Fakenham on Saturday, 7th July, from 11 am to 1 pm.

Proceeds will be given to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Let the Children Live and the Kikambala Children’s Home.

Refreshments will be available and all are welcome.

Weekly Collection: Loose £174.11, Gift Aid £238.00, Total £412.11. Our weekly need is about £500. 1/3 of our money goes to the Diocese. Please plan your giving before Mass and be as generous as you can. If you pay tax please covenant, as we receive another 25p in the £1.
