Dear Friends,

We welcome Fr. Bill Dobson and Fr John Heley who will be saying Mass for us in Fr. Tony’s absence on holiday.

This week it is the turn of St Anthony’s on the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer when we are asked to pray particularly for vocations to the Priesthood and to religious life.

The Catholic Women’s League meet this Wednesday, 18th July, at 7 pm in the Presbytery. Rev’d Canon David Sharp will talk about his Yorkshire childhood. All welcome.

There will be no meeting in August.

Please continue to pray for Fr. Ben Grist, one of our students at Oscott College in Birmingham who is very ill. He was Ordained to the Priesthood last week. Copies of a letter from him are at the back of Church

It begins with Mass at 12. noon, celebrated by Rt. Rev. John Hine, Auxiliary Bishop of Southwark.
