Dear Friends,

Thursday is the Feast of All Saints and is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass at St Anthony’s is at 10 am and 7 pm.

Fr Paul Trinder’s Funeral Mass is on Monday 29th October in the Chapel of Reconciliation at 12 noon.

SHOE BOXES FOR CHRISTMAS Please return to Church as soon as possible. Last date for return is Sunday 4th November

Next Sunday there will be a second collection for ST EDMUND’S FUND, for relieving poverty, supporting Parishes and groups working with people with severe needs.

FAITH TODAY for November is in Church and costs £2.25. It is always a good read

St Anthony’s will be having a stall at the CHARITY TABLE TOP SALE in the Parish Church on 3rd November in aid of KIKAMBALA. We ask for new items that would make gifts for Christmas etc. but no clothing please. Please leave contributions at the back of Church.

DOORWAY TO FAITH booklets, a Journey of Prayer for the Year of Faith. Normal price £1.50; for sale at the back of Church £1 only.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASSES ARE ON THURSDAY AT 5.30-6.30 pm IN THE PRESBYTERY. PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILDREN ON TIME AND STAY FOR THE HOUR WITH THEM, TO HELP WITH HOMEWORK. NEXT CLASS IS ON THURSDAY 8TH NOVEMBER.

RED BOXES. It is humbling in these hard times that members of the Parish who support the APF red boxes continue to be so generous. Your contributions have raised an amazing £1,761. Once again heartfelt thanks from all Missionaries and young churches who will benefit throughout the world. You make it a privilege to be your local Secretary. May God bless and reward you all.
