Dear Friends,

May is the Month of Mary, when we give special devotion to Our Blessed Lady.

Next Sunday is World Communications Day and there will be a collection for the Catholic Communication Service.

Please also continue to pray for a New Bishop for Our Diocese.

MASS FOR CONFIRMATION This will take place on Friday 25th May at 7.00 pm. with Fr David Bagstaff.

The Singles Group will meet for lunch this month at the “Q Bar and Bistro” (behind the cinema) on Thursday, May 31st – 12.30 for 1.00.pm. Please let Janet know, at least a couple of days before the lunch date, if you intend to be there.

The C.W.L. meet this Wednesday in the Presbytery at 7 pm. Carol Williams from “Age UK” will talk about their work. All welcome.

Children’s Pilgrimage to Walsingham Tuesday 5th June. Please see notice board.

There will be no meeting of the Prayer Group this month.

DIocesan Celebration of Marriage and Family Life on Saturday, 23rd June, at St John’s Cathedral, Norwich. Mass with renewal of Marriage Commitment at 11.00, followed by a buffet lunch in

The Narthex. All couples and families are invited. Certificates will be presented to those couples celebrating 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, 55th, 60th anniversaries this year (and above), and to families where there is a baby under 1 year. Please inform us by 8th June if you wish to attend, especially if you will be receiving a certificate. All welcome. No charge, but donations invited on the day. Weekly Collection: Loose £201.99, Gift Aid £259.80, Total £461.79. Our weekly need is about £500. 1/3 of our money goes to the Diocese. Please plan your giving before Mass and be as generous as you can. If you pay tax please covenant, as we receive another 28p in the £1.
