All who have made their First Holy Communion may join our Altar Servers Guild. Just see the Parish Priest. In the first year you will be given instructions on serving and the responsibility expected for this most important service to the life of the Church's liturgy. After one year you will be invited to become a full member of St Anthony's Alter Server's Guild.
St Anthony’s Clothing Guild
All parishioners are invited to join this group. It’s simple, a small donation and the promise to provide two items of new clothing per year, about April, for the needy. The 451 items of clothing last year went partly to help seafarers’ and partly to others in need at home and abroad. Please contact The Secretary Diane Stanley on 01328 863935
The Parish is also involved in, or helps a number of good works over the year including:
Christmas Shoe Boxes filled with presents and sent to Eastern Europe and others.
CAFOD The Catholic Agency for third world Development.
MISSIO Supporting the world-wide mission of the Church through prayer, red collecting boxes and other collections.
St Edmund's Fund helps provide for the needy both in our own parishes and local charities within the Diocese.
Apostleship of the Sea the Church's outreach to seafarers regardless of colour, creed or nationality.
Pax Christi The Church's work for world peace.
