Next Sunday, The Feast of the Holy Trinity, is the last day for Easter Communions.

DATE FOR YOUR DIARY. Sat, 15th June. Afternoon tea in the Church Gardens. We are raising funds for East Anglian Children’s Hospices and the Kikambala Children’s Homes. Tickets now on sale at £2. Help with refreshments and a list of things required will be put at the back of Church. Prizes for the Raffle and Tombola would be welcome. Thank you for your support for this Parish Event.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT FOR THE YEAR OF FAITH, AT ST ANTHONY’S ON SUNDAY, 2ND JUNE, THE FEAST OF THE BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST, 4 TO 5 PM.

CELEBRATION MASS FOR MARRIAGE AND FAMILY LIFE at the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, Norwich, on Saturday, 22nd June at 11 am. Couples are invited to renew their marriage commitment and those celebrating special anniversaries or the birth of a baby since last year’s celebration will receive certificates. Ascension of The Lord

Today is Ascension Day and World Communications Day. There will be a second collection for the Catholic Communication Network.

CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE.   Wednesday, 15th May “A Day together with Mary” at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. From 11 am (Confessions) to 4 pm. (Benediction). Cost £2. Bring own lunch or eat at Shrine café.

THE MARRIAGE [Same Sex Couples] BILL will have its final vote in Parliament about May 20th. After that it will be debated in the House of Lords. You are asked to contact your M.P. TO OPPOSE THE BILL, BY LETTER, EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS, IN THE WEEK OF 13-17th May. You will find a leaflet at the back of the church to read at home. 

CATHOLIC CLOTHING GUILD, FAKENHAM BRANCH I am pleased to report that I took to the Guild AGM in Newmarket, 334 garments and knee blankets, all sorted and labelled for the three charities who would collect them from the meeting. Donations and subscriptions and monies from Bring and Buy came to £79.50. Thank you all for your support and generosity. We also welcomed two new members this year. Thanks to Fr Tony for the loan of the kitchen and dining room for coffee after Mass. Diane Stanley - Secretary
